Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to your most common Paramount Credit Pathway questions.

Do you guarantee credit score improvement?

Honestly? No — and if someone promises you a specific number, walk away. Credit scores are shaped by your full financial history, and no one can control every factor involved.

What we can promise is this: you’ll have the same tools, strategies, and guidance that have helped thousands of real people move the needle on their credit. How far you go depends on your starting point and the steps you take — and we’ll be with you every step of the way.

It depends on your file, but most people start noticing changes within 30–90 days. If your situation is more complex, meaningful improvement typically comes with 3–6 months of consistent action — and that’s completely normal.

Here’s the reality: credit bureaus take up to 45 days to investigate a dispute, and creditors update on their own schedule. There’s no magic button, but there is a proven process — and we walk you through every single step so you’re never left wondering what to do next.

You have the legal right to dispute your own credit report errors directly with the bureaus at no cost, and many people do this successfully. The general process looks like this:

  1. Pull your full credit reports from all three bureaus so you can see the complete picture, not just one bureau’s version. Pathway’s monitoring connects all three in one place instead of you tracking down separate reports.
  2. Review each account and flag anything that looks inaccurate, unverifiable, or too old to legally report. This is the step most people get stuck on, since it’s not always obvious what qualifies. Pathway’s AI does this analysis for you and tells you exactly which items are worth disputing and why.
  3. Draft a dispute letter for each bureau naming the specific item and the reason it should be corrected or removed. Pathway generates bureau-specific letters for you, built on the same dispute language and codes credit repair companies use, so you’re not starting from a blank page or a generic template.
  4. Submit the dispute and track the response, since bureaus generally have 30 days to investigate. Pathway keeps your timeline and status updates in one place so nothing slips past the response window.
  5. Repeat the process for any items that come back unresolved, since disputes are often won in rounds rather than all at once. Pathway’s dispute cycle is built around this, moving you into the next round automatically with an updated letter and strategy.

The hardest parts of doing this yourself are knowing what actually qualifies as disputable and writing a letter that gets a real investigation rather than a form rejection. That’s the gap Pathway is built to close: you’re still disputing your own credit, without paying a company to do it for you, but with the analysis and letter drafting handled for you at every round.

Most credit repair companies charge $100–$250 a month, send letters on your behalf, and leave you completely in the dark about what’s actually happening with your credit. You’re paying for a service you can’t see, from people you’ve never met, with results you can’t track.

Paramount Credit Pathway flips that entirely. For $59/month you get the exact same professional strategies — dispute letters, pay-for-delete negotiations guidance, goodwill letters, and a personalized AI action plan — except you’re the one in control. You see everything, you know exactly what’s being disputed and why, and you’re building real financial knowledge along the way.

No mystery. No middleman. Just a proven process backed by 19+ years of real credit repair experience, finally available at a price that makes sense.

An accurate negative item is one that correctly reflects something that happened, reported the right way. For example, a late payment you genuinely made, reported with the correct date and creditor, is accurate even though it hurts your score. Accurate negative items are legal to report and are difficult or impossible to dispute successfully just because they’re unflattering.

An inaccurate item is one with a real problem in how it’s being reported. Common examples include:

  • A debt reported by the wrong creditor or collection agency
  • An account showing incorrect balances, dates, or payment history
  • A collection or charge-off still appearing after it should have aged off (most negative items fall off after 7 years)
  • The same debt reported multiple times by different collectors
  • An account that doesn’t belong to you at all, such as a mixed file or identity error

Knowing this difference matters because disputing accurate items rarely works and can waste your rounds with the bureaus. Pathway’s AI is built to flag the second category, the items with a genuine reporting problem, so your disputes are targeted at things that actually have a chance of being corrected.
